SOLO

SOLO is a gifted hip-hop recording artist, songwriter, performer and motivational speaker. His musical style is a dynamic mix of modern pop and hip-hop, with a distinctly Caribbean flavour. (a tribute to his proud Trinidadian culture).

In 2005 SOLO, alongside his brother and business partner, created “The Music With Meaning Tour”; an inspirational school tour that combines music with a motivational message. This tour has become a platform for SOLO to fulfill his passion for giving back to the community, while perfecting his performance skills. With over 250 shows to date and over 50,000 youth benefitting from “The Music With Meaning Tour”, SOLO can also add to his resume “Community Leader”, as he has demonstrated the ability to impact the lives of youth as a result of these presentations.

During his down time, SOLO continues to share his talent and positive message by performing at Camps, Community Centers, Private Parties, Bar mitzvahs, Concerts, Fairs and Festivals. Also accredited to him, SOLO is the 1st Montreal Hip Hop artist to get a production deal with Akon’s Hitlab Records. He recently performed as a headliner for over 5000 guests along side Danny Fernandes, and Young Money Entertainment artist; “Jae Millz”, “Gudda Gudda” and “Short Dawg” at the Montreal Teen Fest. Whether it’s solely through his music or music attached to a motivational presentation, SOLO gives 110% every time.

SOLO is currently in studio putting the final touches on his upcoming full- length concept album that will bring listeners on an emotional journey through the issues facing the world today. SOLO has a series of singles available on iTunes for your listening pleasure.

The SOLO CARNIVAL TOUR is a High Impact, High Energy Non stop performance!

Inspired by the elements of Afro Caribbean Carnival ”Soca Music”. The dazzling affects of fire, the colors from the costumes, the beats from the Electro to Hip Hop, the vibe from the Reggae music, and the rhythm from African Djembe Drums; this performance pulls all spectators to their feet and to the dance floor to move to the captivating sounds. SOLO is a young energetic performer, that has been touring the province of Quebec for the last 8 years with his own High School, Cegep and University Tour; “Music with Meaning”. The tour was created to entertain, inspire and motivate adolescents; of which it did very successfully. Through the Music with Meaning tour SOLO has created a very large and loyal fan base of young adults that followed him through out his touring years and are now requesting him in more club and festival settings. With the high demand, SOLO and his staff have partnered with West-Can folk performing company, Rasul & V.I.P productions to give his fans a show that will have a lasting impression. This is a “Running” show; the party will never stop!
